  • Managing Customer Expectations
  • Managing a Sustainable Business in the Hospitality and Tourism Sector
  • Marketing for the Hospitality and Tourism Sector

Upon successful completion of level one you will be eligible for a Cert HE

Level Two

  • Organisational Culture and Leadership
  • Public Relations and Branding
  • Managing Projects and Organisational Change
  • Financial Management and Financial Forecasting

Upon successful completion of level two you will be eligible for a Dip HE

Level Three

  • Strategic Management
  • Entrepreneurship and Innovation
  • Major Project
  • Reflections on Practice and Career Progression

plus at least two of the following...

  • Niche Tourism
  • Conference and Event Management
  • Food and Beverage Management

Upon successful completion of level three you will be eligible for a BA (Hons).

Assessment

We have some good news, you won’t have to sit any exams to pass this course. Progress is assessed entirely on the basis of a series of essays and flexible assignments which will be related to the Hospitality and Tourism sector.

There is a wealth of online resources available specifically for hospitality, tourism and management including key journal databases and e-journals. Specialist databases including UK and international company information. The Library holds a large collection of e-books (over 25,000).

Online library support is offered through our AskUs chat and email service.

odcasts and online guides to offer support with library skills and using individual resources have been developed and a podcast specifically addressing the resource needs for hospitality and tourism has been developed.

Entry requirements

Entry requirements:

GCSE in English and Maths grade C or above or equivalent.

200 points from two subjects at GCE/VCE A level or VCE double award or equivalent.

Equivalent qualifications considered.

IELTS 6.0 or above.

Applications from mature students and those offering qualifications other than GCE/VCE A Levels are welcomed and considered on an individual basis.

Progression and Advanced Diplomas considered on its individual merits and subject to further information from UCAS and the QCA upon the grading scheme.
