Our distance learning programmes are designed to provide you with everything you need to succeed.
Choosing a distance learning course means you can study whenever and wherever you choose; whether that’s at home, at work or on the move. So if you’re juggling the realities of modern life and have family, work and other commitments, you can still fit university education in.
As a distance learner you’ll enjoy full individual support throughout your course, with a tutor on hand to advise, guide and provide feedback on your assessments. In addition to group tutorials, you can also contact your tutor online or by phone.
You’ll enjoy the support of your fellow students through online tutorials and forums designed to help enrich your learning experience. Some courses provide optional inductions and workshops, so you’ll also have the opportunity to meet with your fellow students and your course tutor.
As an Anglia Ruskin student you will receive a Student ID card providing you with access to library resources both online, and in our campus libraries at Cambridge, Chelmsford, Fulbourn and Peterborough. Access to other University libraries in the UK is also possible through our membership of the SCONUL Access scheme.

I have benefitted enormously from this course in terms of skills gained, and also in terms of networking with like minded individuals. I have been given many useful and practical ideas which in turn have increased my confidence in the role.
