Recent graduate Radoslaw works for the football club, Legia Warsaw in Poland.
I was headhunted from a job in Nottingham, England and moved to coach for Legia Warsaw in Poland. Having to study on top of relocating and a new role was a massive challenge, but not impossible, and the flexibility of the online course has enabled me to accept a job in another country and progress my career. It also means I can take my studies with me. My place of work can change quickly, so this style of study fits in well with my type of career.
Studying for a degree will support my future career in football coaching and help me to apply for coaching roles across the world.

Skills that apply to your work
I have gained new skills I’ve been able to apply to my role as an academy manager and as a team member.
The Psychology module has taught me how to manage players and improve their communication between each other.
It has taught me to look in detail at the ability of individual players and what affects their performance at certain points in the game.
I’ve learnt a great deal about management and leadership style and managing finances, all aspects you need to be an all-round successful coach.
My major project has been extremely interesting to research and I have continued to evolve and analyse my findings and include what I have learnt so far in my coaching programme.
