How distance learning worked for us

Supporting you all the way

If you've got any questions about studying with ARU or about distance learning then our specialist team are on hand to help. Our friendly consultants are only too happy to talk through any queries or concerns you might  have.  They'll help you decide if distance learning is right for you and which course will help you achieve your current and future aspirations. Once you've decided you'd like to study with us, they'll also be on hand to support you through your online application should you need them.

Once you've accepted an offer to study with ARU you'll be backed by a dedicated team of professionals that will ensure a smooth start to studies. They'll get you access to everything you need and support you through registration and all other non-teaching related requirements.

You'll study online through Canvas, a world-class Learning Management System (LMS), which can be accessed from your phone, pc or tablet at home or on the move. Canvas provides instant access to study materials, forums, and support from tutors and classmates, as well as enabling easy submission of your assignments. Depending on your course you may be required to spend some time on campus where you will have access to the full range of facilities on offer to our campus-based students, including the library and students union.

On successful completion of your studies you'll be invited to attend a graduation ceremony on campus where you can celebrate with your friends, family, classmates and tutors. If attending the ceremony in person isn't possible then don't worry, we'll arrange to have your certificate sent to you.
