Why take an ARU online football degree?

There are several reasons an ARU online football degree can be a coaching career springboard:

  • Our expert tutors have close links to professional clubs and associations.

  • Top coaches and players from across the globe attend our courses.

  • You’ll study, learn and excel in a dynamic international peer group.

  • You’ll meet classmates, tutors and special speakers at the annual residential in Cambridge, UK.

  • Our coaching for performance degree is unique – the only one of its kind you’ll find anywhere.

On our performance course, you’ll bolster your skillset with cutting-edge coaching modules on technical and tactical principles, sports psychology and global coaching perspectives. And if you’re taking our development coaching degree, you’ll benefit from brilliant insights on sports science, youth football coaching and the lifelong benefits of the game.

Winning formula with online and in-person learning

Our inclusive and accessible online football courses are designed specifically to fit flexibly into your already-demanding lifestyle – while maintaining the same level of teaching excellence and vocational value you’d expect if you were based on campus.

Our world-class online Learning System, Canvas, can be accessed from anywhere and allows you to keep up with coursework and chat to classmates and tutors while you’re on the move.

And because you’ll get the chance to meet tutors, learn from leading professionals and kick a ball around with classmates during your annual residential in Cambridge, your course presents the perfect blend of online and in-person learning.

The Residential

The mandatory residential module at our Cambridge campus each year in June is the course component that many students look forward to the most. It offers an exciting mix of formal studying, practical sessions and socialising – you’ll mix with course mates and tutors face to face, hear from high calibre guest lecturers and taking part in on-point practical sessions.
